In india, Bathukamma is a colourful floral festival celebrated by womenfolk, heralding the beauty of vibrant nature in multitudinous flowers.
For one whole week, women make small ‘Bathukammas’, play around them every evening and immerse them in a nearby water pond. They breathe the fresh air of freedom to celebrate the colours of flowers.

Bathukamma est une fête des fleurs célébrée principalement en Inde au Telangana et dans certaines parties de l’Andhra Pradesh. Chaque année, ce festival est célébré selon le calendrier Sathavahana pendant neuf jours pendant la seconde moitié de la mousson, avant le début de l’hiver.
Bathukamma c’est aussi un festival floral coloré et célébré par les femmes avec des fleurs exotiques de la région.
Les pluies de la mousson apportent généralement beaucoup d’eau dans les étangs, les réservoirs de Telangana et c’est aussi le moment où les fleurs sauvages fleurissent dans diverses couleurs vibrantes à travers les plaines arides de la région. Les femmes célèbrent ainsi la beauté de la nature vibrante en fleurs innombrables.
